SYNOPSIS

Malikai is a deep-water oil discovery in Block G, offshore Sabah, Malaysia, to be operated by Shell with a 35% share with co-ventures ConocoPhillips (COP) and PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) holding 35% and 30% shares respectively.

The Malikai project comprises of the development of offshore facilities and flowlines to the (Kebabangan) KBB platform for processing and oil export to Sabah Offshore Gas Terminal (SOGT) at Kimanis, Sabah.  The project excludes the processing of the produced fluids beyond the tie-in point at the KBB production facilities, and transportation to SOGT does not form a part of the Malikai project scope.

A TLP shall be installed over Malikai field and configured for the relatively mild environments offshore NW of Sabah, Malaysia. The TLP will be designed for 24 Dry Tree Wells to be drilled with a Semi TAD rig. The Malikai TLP will be a permanently manned installation.  The well streams are lifted to the topsides of TLP using annular gas lift
