1. Criteria for Tan Sri Ir. Prof Chin Fung Kee Memorial Scholarship :
The Conditions to be fulfilled by applicants for Tan Sri Datuk Ir. Prof Chin Fung Kee Scholarship of RM6,000 per annum are as follows:
- Open to all Malaysia Citizens.
- He/She is enrolled in a full-time undergraduate Engineering degree programme in local IPTA and IPTS.
- He/She is following or will enroll for a course of study in any branch of the engineering professions accredited by the BEM & IEM.
- He/She is not holding another scholarship except PTPTN.
- STPM holders who achieved five principles and obtained more than 70 units or equivalent.
- Have been actively involved in extra-curriculum activities during previous study at school or other institute.
Payment is made yearly and on condition that the recipients submit the result slips. Terms:
- Generally the student must need the financing
- Academic results are second to this.
- Only parents’ combined income below RM6000 to be considered.
- Closing Date Application: 15 July 2026 Extended to 24 July 2026

2. Criteria for TT Chiam Scholarship
The Conditions to be fulfilled by applicants for TT Chiam Scholarship of RM8,000 per annum are as follows:
- Open to all Malaysian Citizens.
- He/She is following a course of study in an approved local university or other approved local centers of higher learning or is eligible to enter such local university or local centers of higher learning.
- He/She is following or will enrol in Civil Engineering course, accredited by the BEM & IEM.
- Only Parent’s income to be below RM6,000 considered.
- He/She is not holding another scholarship except PTPTN.
- Have been actively involved in extra-curriculum activities during previous study at school or other institute.
Payment is made yearly and on condition that the recipients submit the result slips.

Scholarship Criteria
Undergraduate Engineering Degree Programmes
1. Eligibility:
- Open to all Malaysian citizens and NEW APPLICANTS (1st Year enrolment) only.
- Selected candidates will be automatically enrolled in the First Year of the selected sponsored undergraduate engineering programmes at SEGi University.
- Parental combined income must be below RM 6,000 per month.
- Student must not hold any other major scholarship or financial award except PTPTN
2. Academic Requirements:
- Must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 throughout the duration of their studies.
- Must complete their studies within four years. The scholarship will be terminated if the students’ CGPA falls below the minimum requirement and needs to repeat any paper.
3. Extracurricular Involvement:
- Student must actively participate in extracurricular activities during their studies.
- Student are also required to contribute to SEGi University’s activities, including participation in promotional activities, for up to 5 hours per week during their period of study at the University
4. Fees
- The scholarship covers TUITION AND EXAM FEES ONLY for the entire duration of studies, provided that the student maintains the required CGPA and does not repeat any papers, in accordance to Item (2).
Academic intake opens in Jan, May and September every year.

Kriteria Biasiswa
Program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan
1. Kelayakan:
- Terbuka kepada warganegara Malaysia dan PEMOHON BARU sahaja (kemasukan Tahun 1)
- Calon yang berjaya akan secara automatik didaftarkan untuk mengikuti Tahun 1 program Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan terpilih di bawah tajaan biasiswa di SEGi University.
- Jumlah gabungan pendapatan ibu bapa mestilah di bawah RM6,000 sebulan.
- Calon TIDAK DIBENARKAN menerima sebarang biasiswa utama atau bantuan kewangan lain, kecuali PTPTN.
2. Kelayakan Akademik:
- Calon WAJIB mengekalkan markah CGPA minimum 3.0 sepanjang tempoh pengajian
- Calon HARUS menamatkan pengajian dalam tempoh empat (4) tahun. Biasiswa akan ditarik balik sekiranya markah CGPA pelajar jatuh di bawah syarat minimum atau perlu mengulang mana-mana subjek atau semester pengajian.
3. Penglibatan Kokurikulum:
- Calon diwajibkan menyertai aktiviti kokurikulum sepanjang tempoh pengajian.
- Calon diwajibkan menyumbang sehingga 5 jam seminggu kepada aktiviti SEGi University sepanjang tempoh pengajian di SEGi University.
4. Yuran
- Biasiswa ini hanya meliputi YURAN PENGAJIAN dan YURAN PEPERIKSAAN sahaja sepanjang tempoh pengajian, dengan syarat Calon harus mengekalkan markah CGPA minimum dan tidak mengulang mana-mana subjek atau semester seperti yang ditetapkan di Perenggan (2).
Kemasukan akademik dibuka pada bulan Januari, Mei dan September setiap tahun.
