Overview

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) is an investment holding company that managed most of the airports in Malaysia and few International Airports. This company was incorporated in 1991 when the Malaysian Parliament passed a bill to separate the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) into two entities with different spheres of responsibilities. DCA remains the regulatory body for the airports and aviation industry in Malaysia, whilst the newly created entity, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, is to focus on the operation, management, and maintenance of airports.

The Company, through its subsidiaries, operates in five segments:
1) duty free and non-dutiable goods, which include the operation of duty free, non-duty free outlets and provide management service in respect of food and beverage outlets at designated airports;
2) airport services, which is engaged in the management,operation and maintenance of designated airports in Malaysia, as well as providing airport related services;
3) agriculture and horticulture, which is engaged in the cultivation and sale of oil palm and other agricultural products and carrying out horticulture activities;
4) hotel, which is engaged in the management and operation of The Pan Pacific Hotel KLIA, and
5) project and repair maintenance and the provision of mechanical and electrical engineering.

MAHB have earned Integrated Management System which include ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and EMS 14001 certification.
