SYNOPSIS
The workshop introduces participants to how a Unified Namespace can create a structured, contextualised and reusable industrial data foundation across machines, automation systems, MES, ERP and digital applications. Discussions will explore common factory data challenges, interoperability, information architecture, MQTT-based connectivity, data context, scalability and readiness for AI and advanced analytics. The workshop aims to help participants understand the practical role of UNS in reducing data silos, improving system integration and enabling more agile, scalable and future-ready smart manufacturing environments. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of UNS principles, key implementation considerations and practical pathways for progressing from fragmented industrial data towards a connected, AI-ready factory architecture.
