SYNOPSIS

The technical visit aims to introduce participants to the engineering principles, system design considerations, and practical applications of sustainable hot water solutions for hospitality and residential developments.

In addition, the program demonstrates how contemporary heat pump technology can be used to satisfy various hot water requirements and enhance energy efficiency, system reliability, and overall operational performance.

Participants will learn about the engineering considerations required for selecting and designing a hot water system. Particular attention will be given to the application of Heat Pump Water Heating Systems as an energy-efficient alternative to conventional heating methods through the use of practical examples and case studies from both hospitality and residential developments.

Hot water simulation session and guided plant tour included in the program allow participants to gain a greater appreciation of the operation, control, and performance of the system, as well as to understand the manufacturing process and quality assurance associated with hot water and heating equipment.

Overall, the program provides a practical forum for knowledge exchange and professional development and enables participants to improve their understanding of sustainable hot water engineering.
