The IEM ENGINEERS FUN WALK 2026 is organised by the Standing Committee on Welfare and Member Services (WEL), Women Engineers (WE) and Young Engineers Section (YES).  The event will be held on 29 November 2026 (Sunday) at Dataran DBKL.

The programme is designed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among IEM members and the public while providing an informal platform for participants to strengthen professional networking and camaraderie within the engineering community.

The event is featured 5 km Fun Walk providing participants with an opportunity to participate according to their fitness level and preference.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE

I understand that the IEM Engineers Fun Walk 2026 involves physical activity and may involve risks such as accidents, injuries, illness, weather conditions, and road conditions.

I confirm that I am fit to participate and agree to follow all safety instructions and event rules. I voluntarily accept the risks of participating in the event.

I agree to release The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), its organisers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and related parties from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, to the extent permitted by Malaysian law.

I agree that emergency medical assistance may be arranged if necessary and that I will be responsible for any related medical expenses and my personal belongings.

I confirm that I have read, understood, and accepted this waiver. For participants below 18 years old, this must be accepted by a parent or legal guardian.
