SYNOPSIS

The technical visit provides engineers and industry practitioners with practical exposure to modern pile testing and foundation assessment technologies. Participants will explore 14 types of pile testing, including Pile Integrity Testing, PDA, Sonic Logging and Bidirectional Static Load Testing, together with equipment operation, calibration, quality assurance and data interpretation. The visit will also showcase the latest innovations in testing equipment and robotic-assisted manufacturing processes. Through demonstrations and technical exchanges with industry experts, participants will strengthen their understanding of foundation engineering practices, enhance professional competency, and gain valuable insights into current industry technologies. The programme also promotes collaboration among academia, professional institutions and industry stakeholders.
