SYNOPSIS
This virtual half-day workshop, organized by The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, explores how ChatGPT and artificial intelligence can transform construction project management. The workshop addresses the persistent challenges facing the construction industry—where 93% of projects encounter substantial risk events, leading to 5-10% budget overruns and significant schedule delays. Participants learn practical applications of AI for automating routine tasks, enhancing risk management, improving stakeholder communication, and streamlining documentation processes. The workshop emphasizes a hybrid approach where AI augments rather than replaces human expertise, with experienced professionals providing contextual refinement to AI-generated outputs.
