BIODATA OF SPEAKERS

1) Ir. Raghunath Kanapathy

Ir. Raghunath Kanapathy is an Electrical Professional Engineer and Corporate Member of IEM with nearly two decades of experience across Malaysia’s power, utility, and transformer service sectors. His career spans engineering, project management, and grid operations at Tenaga Nasional Berhad, followed by industry experience with Siemens. He is currently with Reinhausen as a Senior Technical Consultant, specializing in transformer service and diagnostics, voltage regulating tap changers, and lifecycle strategies for utilities and industrial clients. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and is recognised for integrating technical expertise with practical operational leadership.


2) Mr. Chan Keng Fuong

Mr. Chan Keng Fuong is Shell Lubricants Technical Advisor specializing in the industrial power sector. He serves as the technical focal point for Shell MIDEL transformer fluids, supporting customers with transformer insulation fluid selection, condition assessment, and reliability improvement initiatives. He has experience supporting Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Transmission and Distribution projects and works closely with utility and industrial customers to enhance transformer safety, performance, and asset lifecycle management through innovative fluid technologies.
