SYNOPSIS
The EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) is reshaping how organisations identify, assess, and manage environmental and human rights risks across their value chains. While the legislation originates in Europe, its impact is expected to extend well beyond the EU as customers, investors, and business partners increasingly seek greater transparency and accountability from companies operating in global supply chains.
Recent regulatory developments have created uncertainty around what the CSDDD means in practice and how organisations should respond. This webinar will provide a practical overview of the evolving landscape and explore the implications for businesses operating across Asian and international markets.
The session will discuss emerging expectations around due diligence, supplier engagement, governance, and risk management, and consider how these developments are influencing business relationships, procurement practices, and supply chain management. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of what the CSDDD is, why it matters, and the practical steps organisations can take to prepare for an increasingly interconnected regulatory environment.
