SYNOPSIS
Deluge systems are vital fire protection solutions for high-hazard facilities, including oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and industrial sites. This webinar provides practical guidance on selecting appropriate deluge valve technologies and control philosophies to improve system reliability, response time, maintainability, and lifecycle performance. Participants will explore differences between conventional on-off valves and pressure control technologies, challenges associated with orifice plates, and key design considerations. Speaker 1 : Mr Vincent Lee
Mr. Vincent Lee is the Southeast Asia Segment Manager at BERMAD Fire Protection with over 20 years of experience in marine and fire protection industries. A former Marine Engineer with the Singapore Navy, he has extensive expertise in fire protection valve technologies, deluge systems, foam systems, and fire water network control. Vincent has supported major offshore and onshore projects across Southeast Asia. In this webinar, he will share practical insights on deluge valve selection, control philosophies, and strategies to enhance fire protection system reliability, operability, and safety.
Speaker 2 : Mr Jerry Chok
Mr. Jerry Chok is the Technical Sales Manager at BERMAD Fire Protection, with extensive expertise in fire engineering, fire safety design, and performance-based fire protection solutions. Formerly a Fire Safety Consultant, he contributed to major Singapore projects such as NS Square, Applied Materials Manufacturing Facility, and Golden Mile Complex Redevelopment. His experience covers engineered smoke control systems, regulatory compliance, and fire safety strategies. At BERMAD, he supports Southeast Asia with technical expertise in fire protection systems, hydraulic control valves, deluge systems, and specialised industrial and commercial fire protection applications.
