Synopsis

This technical visit introduces participants to Electromodula’s High Voltage Electric Vehicle (HVEV) training facilities and hands-on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations for single-deck electric buses. Participants will gain insights into TÜV Rheinland-certified EV training pathways, including Levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as high-voltage safety practices, real-world diagnostics, and maintenance procedures for commercial EVs. The programme includes a visit to Putrajaya Sentral to observe one of Southeast Asia’s fastest pantograph charging systems, a tour of EMSB’s Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles (Pusat Kecemerlangan Kenderaan Elektrik) at Presint 14, and a CPR and AED demonstration to reinforce emergency response capabilities. Overall, the visit provides a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, benchmarking, and collaboration while offering a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s commercial EV ecosystem, workforce development initiatives, and high-voltage vehicle technologies.
