1) TECHNICAL VISIT TO KEBUN KOTA FARM


Kebun Kota Farm is an urban farming initiative that promotes sustainable agriculture and community engagement in Kuantan. It integrates modern farming techniques with eco-friendly practices to produce fresh, local crops while educating the public on food security and environmental stewardship. The farm serves as a learning hub for students, families, and enthusiasts interested in urban gardening, composting, and green living. By transforming limited urban spaces into productive landscapes, Kebun Kota Farm fosters awareness of sustainable lifestyles, strengthens community bonds, and supports local food systems, contributing to a greener and more resilient urban environment in Pahang.


2. TECHNICAL VISIT TO BASF PETRONAS CHEMICALS SDN BHD

BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Sdn Bhd is a leading petrochemical joint venture between BASF and PETRONAS, located in Gebeng, Kuantan, Malaysia. The company operates integrated production facilities manufacturing high-value chemicals such as acrylic monomers, oxo products, and other specialty chemicals for global markets. It plays a key role in supporting downstream chemical industries and regional economic growth. With a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability, BASF PETRONAS emphasizes efficient resource use and reduced environmental impact.
