SYNOPSIS
This webinar explores the definition and characteristics of ignitable liquids, what causes them to burn, and the fire hazards associated with storing and handling of ignitable liquids. This webinar will also cover the protection options; both passive and active, to control the fire exposure related to ignitable liquids. Among others, the main reference for this webinar is the NFPA 30 document. This webinar would also discuss loss histories related to ignitable liquid fires.
SPEAKER'S PROFILE
Vishnu has over 15 years of experience in the Insurance Risk Engineering/Loss Prevention industry, with current 3 years of tenure with Zurich. Over the years, he has gained expertise for a broad range of accounts in the APAC region; in an array of industrial and commercial risks. He is proficient in Property Fire, Theft, Business Interruption, Natural Perils and Machinery Breakdown assessments.
Vishnu has also had prior experience managing a team of Risk Engineers. Vishnu always has a passion for loss prevention, which is portrayed by his earlier tenure as the Chairman for the Fire Protection Association of Malaysia (FPAM) for 4 years. Vishnu has also conducted seminars for the insurance industry.
As a Senior Risk Engineer of Zurich Resilience Solutions (Asia), he takes great responsibility for assisting customers / clients for risk assessment and evaluation, loss prevention & controls, as well as risk reduction methodology within the area for property lines of business.
