The talk will present the contribution of various engineering disciples (Agriculture, Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical) in the development of Palm Oil Milling Industry in a Palm Oil Plantation Estate Organisation setting that have become one of the pillars of Malaysia economy.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Yong Yoke Choon
Ir. Yong Yoke Choon, a Chemical Engineering graduate from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (1978), has over 29 years of extensive experience in engineering and senior management. He started his career with 9 years as Process Engineer at Golden Hope Plantation Bhd, followed by 4 years as General Manager (Project) at Taiko Management Bhd and 5 years as General Manager at Toprank Corporation Sdn. Bhd. He later joined BASFPetronas Sdn. Bhd., serving 5 years as Wastewater/Utility Manager and 6 years as Senior Plant Manager (MAn), leading large-scale operations, project management, and utility systems with proven technical and leadership expertise.
