SYNOPSIS
Previously served in the Policy, International and Research Development Division (BDAPP), responsible for analyzing national occupational accident, occupational disease, and occupational poisoning data. Involved in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) studies under the Ninth Malaysia Plan (RMK-9), Tenth Malaysia Plan (RMK-10), and Eleventh Malaysia Plan (RMK-11), and directly involved in programmers under OSHMP-15, OSHMP-20, OSHMP-25, and OSHMP-30.
Also coordinated the development of DOSH standards/specifications and legislation, include Coordinating the development of the Occupational Safety and Health (Construction Work) (Design and Management) Regulations 2024; Coordinating the development of the Occupational Safety and Health (Licensed Person) Order 2024; Occupational Safety and Health (Plant Requiring Certificate of Fitness) Regulations 2014; also, as well as standardization activities in collaboration with the Department of Standards Malaysia for Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems, ISO 45001 and MS ISO 45001, MS 2558 Safety and Health Signage in the Workplaces.
Currently attached to the Construction Site Safety Division as the Head of the Analysis Section, responsible for preparing and analyzing occupational accident data and enforcement-related data for the national construction industry.

PN NORSALNITA BINTI MD NOOR DOSH Factories and Machinery Inspector
Norsalnita Binti Md Noor is a Factories and Machinery Inspector with over 17 years of experience in occupational safety and health (OSH), specializing in construction safety, policy development, enforcement, research, and occupational accident data analysis. Currently serving at the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia, she has played a key role in developing national OSH regulations, managing research initiatives under the Malaysia Plans (RMK-9 to RMK-12), and contributing to international OSH conventions. She holds a Master's in Engineering Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a Registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Her strengths include leadership, critical thinking, negotiation, and project coordination.
