SYNOPSIS
To complement the technical insights, participants will take part in a guided visit to an operational Automated Waste Collection System (AWCS) facility. The visit will provide a unique opportunity to observe how waste is efficiently collected, transported, and centralized through sealed underground or overhead pipe networks, eliminating the reliance on conventional garbage trucks while reducing odor, litter, and public health risks.
Participants will be able to witness the full process in action – from waste inlets and chutes that link households and buildings, to the propulsion of waste at high speed through the piping system, and finally to the centralized collection station where waste is stored hygienically in sealed containers for scheduled disposal.
The visit will also highlight the system’s advanced monitoring and control technologies that ensure its operational reliability and efficiency. Beyond the technical knowledge, participants will gain valuable insights into the positive environmental and social impacts of AWCS, including cleaner streets, sustainable waste management practices, and enhanced quality of life for communities.
NOTE
• The visit is strictly limited to only Forty (40) participants registered on a first come first pay basis. • Limited to Forty (40) Participants Only
