SYNOPSIS
This webinar is designed to provide participants with a brief understanding of project management as a profession, its evolving career opportunities, and the value of globally recognized certifications. The webinar will also cover on PMTD IEM effort in advancing the art, science and profession of Project Management related to engineering, as well as fostering the involvement of its members.

The session aims to equip the engineering fraternities with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their career trajectory and prepare for success in a competitive, dynamic project management environment. The Webinar will also share the career building tips on how to select suitable accreditation, building professional portfolio, engaging in networking and mentoring, as well as continuous life long learning. The presenter will share his tailored advice on career path and to overcome challenges.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Ts. Dr. Harris is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, backed by 21 years in the oil and gas industry. His experience cuts across downstream, upstream, gas business, governance, and even international assignments — a true 360-degree view of the energy sector and vast involvement in project management. A certified PMP since 2012, Dr Harris spent 10 years managing EPCC for upstream greenfield projects, 2 years as host authority, 8 years driving digital and new tech projects — where he’s known for exceeding targets and building highperforming teams that deliver beyond expectations.
Having delivered over 50 technical presentations at national and global conferences, he has been actively involved in various talks and activities as presenters, panellist and moderator. On top of that, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Project Management Technical Division (PMTD) at IEM, and contributes to shaping the next generation through industrial advisory panel roles at for local universities.
