The Biogas Plant- Serting Hilir mill is located at Felda Serting Hilir Complex, near Serting Hilir, Seri Jempol, Negeri Sembilan. The travelling time is about 2½ hours non-stop from Kuala Lumpur (approx. 180km).
The Plant utilizes the Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME) using anaerobic digester tanks (Reactors) to generate methane gas.
The methane gas collected is stored and consumed to generate power using a Gas Engine. The power supply to GRID in future is optional.
