• Synopsis 1 by Ir. Dr. Lee Wei Jye
Malaysia has more than 80,000 lifts and escalators in operation. According to OSHA Amendment Regulations 2024, building owners are responsible for the maintenance of these systems. However, many owners lack the necessary knowledge to effectively manage service providers. They are often caught between the demands of users and the expectations of service providers. Moreover, improper maintenance of lifts can lead to serious accidents. Therefore, it is essential for building owners to be equipped with proper knowledge to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand key regulations governing the lift industry and learn how to effectively manage service providers to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient lift operations.
