SYNOPSIS
The CB 200 bridge is a portable bailey bridge designed for military and emergency use. Constructed from modular steel frameworks, it allows quick assembly and disassembly. With a load capacity of up to 200 metric tons, this bridge is suitable for various purposes, including military operations, humanitarian missions, and post-disaster recovery efforts.
The Rejimen Askar Jurutera DiRaja (RAJD) plays a vital role in the management and deployment of the CB 200 bridge. As the engineering experts of the Malaysian Armed Forces, RAJD is responsible for the planning, installation, and maintenance of this bridge. Their expertise ensures efficient operations, particularly in remote areas or locations with damaged infrastructure.
RAJD’s involvement in the operation of the CB 200 bridge highlights their capability in supporting both military and humanitarian missions. The bridge serves not only as a strategic asset for troop mobility but also contributes to civilian welfare, especially during natural disasters like floods. With the integration of modern technology, the CB 200 bridge remains a crucial component in military engineering efforts and national relief operations.
