Ts. Egbert Adolf Naintin
Ts. Egbert Adolf Naintin is currently working with the Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA) as a Senior Researcher and Centre Head for Ocean Law and Policy. An experienced Marine Officer with a demonstrated history of 17 years working in the government administration, he is an expertin Ship Management, Maritime Law, Maritime Operations, International Shipping, and Maritime Education and Training. He also possesses strong services professional with a Bachelor of Engineering (Marine Technology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Master of Science (MSc) in Maritime Studies from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He is also professionally certified as an Approved Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006 Trainer from the International Training Centre (ITC) of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Italy. He is specialised in designing a Fixed Pitch Marine Propeller for luxury yacht, work boats etc while working as a marine propeller design engineer in Southampton, UK in 2017-2019.
