Engineering Technologist & Technician Subcomm (ETSC) welcome all engineering technologists and technicians to join our second meet-up session and special talk from our 2 guest speakers that will be sharing their challenging working experience in handling crisis, safety technology and solutions. The theme - "The Rise of Technicians" hails the indispensable presence of technicians across diverse sectors, such as mechanical, electrical, rail, aerospace, and more, aligning with Malaysia's Industry 4.0 agenda. The Registration of Engineers Act 138 has rightfully recognized technicians, and the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) has embraced them, providing a professional pathway. This inclusivity foresees a surge in technicians contributing significantly to the advancement of industries and the realization of Malaysia's Industry 4.0 vision, making them central to technological innovation and progress in today's complex world.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

1) Tuan Ahmad Zazley Mat Nasir
Quality Assurance Specialist Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd

Ahmed Zazley has been working in the light-rail transit (LRT) industry for 24 years and is currently working as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd. Throughout the years, he has been a certified trainer and facilitator from numerous agencies such as HRDF, NLP, NOSS,PEMADAM, AADK and many more.Being an active certified trainer and facilitator for 30 years, his competencies mainly focus on motivation,human behavior therapy, learning & development and mental illness therapy. In addition, he is also active in mind and sports development programs and involved in the Empowerment Program for Football Kids (SUPERICFL) and FAM-Football Associate Malaysia for ICFL.

Amongst of his major achievements were involved in Testing and Commissioning new trains 4 car and MidLife Refurbishment Train, received the Gold Awards for International ICC Taipei representing Prasarana Rapid KL Malaysia, archive for SPAD Innovative Awards 2013 and developed various modules and facilitated many programs internally over the years. He also has conducted a Training program for MALDIVES Broadcasting in Male City, Maldives.


2) Tuan Mohd Azad Jasmi
Director, TIC (TAJ Int’l College), Certified Automative Trainer & Business Coach

Mohd Azad Jasmi is a man with high passion in strategic management, corporate strategy,entrepreneurship issues, international business cases as well as deep interest in automotive, motor sports and health workout. Being a qualified Performance Driving instructor and active rally driver, he has been engaged as the test driver cum motoring journalist. He brings 20 years of hands-on experience with an extensive background in professional business development, private coaching and leadership training,strategic planning, product planning and new business ventures. He held many positions in Product Planning, Strategic Branding, Corporate Strategy since 1999 at various automotive companies ie; Proton,KIA, NAZA, Chevrolet, General Motors, DRB-HICOM and his last post was the Managing Director of Kleemann Asia Pacific, a distributor of Premium Mercedes Tuner based in Copenhagen, and overseeing the Asia Pacific markets.

With great amount of perseverance to achieve his goal. He is optimistic and always executes planned-approach in things he does and that is what driving him towards his success. He loves teaching and beingwith people, especially the students. He has a fair share of fruitful experience working with amazing staff and lecturers in universities and colleges. He does selectively read books mostly on international businesses and entrepreneurship, motor sports and self-development. His interests and forte in training and coaching are Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Branding, Product Planning, Automotive,Strategic Marketing and Consumer & Organizational Behavior.
