SYNOPSIS
Malaysia has launched the National Policy on Industry 4.0 (Industry4WRD) on 31 October2018. There are many strategies by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to attract Industry especially manufacturing-based SMEs to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies & processes. The target outcomes will be the higher industry contribution, more high value-added products, and continuing FDIs. Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are computerized systems used in manufacturing to track and document the transformation of raw materials to finished goods. MES provides information that helps manufacturing decision-makers understand how current conditions on the plant floor can be optimized to improve production output. In this webinar, the speakers will introduce the MES and its application in Malaysia Manufacturing Industry.
