SYNOPSIS
The Java programming language lies at the core of many large-scale business applications – especially business-to-business commercial systems that fuel the advancement of the digital economy. In addition, the portable and easy-to-learn natures in Java programming make it an attractive programming language for a wide array of portable electronics, such as from smartphones (Android, BlackBerry and Samsung) to embedded systems in consumer products and industry’s applications. Briefly, Java programming language is a high level, robust, secured and object-oriented programming (OOP) language. This digital class will give participants an understanding of Java programming and hands-on experience in writing and developing Java codes.
CLASS CONTENT
Part 1: Understand the fundamentals of Java programming, editing tools, online compilers and integrated development environment (IDE) tools. Understand basic Syntax, basic data types, print and display text, variable types, basic operators, numbers, characters.
Part 2: Understand decision making and loop controls.
Part 3: Understand arrays, strings, date & time and methods.
Part 4: Understand files and I/O, exceptions and inner classes, introduction to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
SPEAKER PROFILE
Ir. Daniel Pu Chuan Hsian
Ir. Daniel Pu has more than 18 years of experience in software development at the IT company and teaching experience of electronics and programming subjects at colleges & universities’ levels. Currently, he works at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.
