SYNOPSIS
Engineers are known to solve problems that the world faced in the past, present and future. Be it in our house, on the road, in the sea, on the air and outer space, engineers camouflage behind economic justification to provide solutions that the world is ever in need. With the dynamics of national and human needs unfolding, engineers call to acquire new knowledge to enhance an engineer’s capability to solve problems with the changes of time is critical. Currently, many resources that can be used to enhance our knowledge appeared to be restricted to our access. Methodology used to improve our knowledge and know how has also been incommodious. As we move into the next decade, engineering professionals (engineers, engineering technologist and engineering technician) needs all resources available in IEM to grow further. IEM library and its services can be optimized to support its member’s professional development in many aspects. In this talk, the speaker will share what really motivates engineer and how IEM library can play an important role to support IEM member’s knowledge enhancement and solve technical problems now and future.
