Synopsis:
Malaysia has launched the National Policy on Industry 4.0 (Industry4WRD) on 31 October 2018. There are many strategies by Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to attract Industry especially manufacturing based SMEs to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies & processes. The target outcomes will be the higher manufacturing sector contribution, more high value-added products and continuing FDIs. In this talk, the speaker will share with the audience about the Digital Transformation Strategy for Engineering Firms. Many Malaysian companies especially SMEs are still not yet start their journey towards digital transformation. For the company that opts for digital transformation as the benefits and advantages of such a revolution are very promising. However, some companies may experience difficulties in developing a strong hold on this transition of technology. How can your company overcome such difficulties? What are the right ways of implementing digital transformation strategies?
