SYNOPSIS
The water services industry is vital for sustainable growth, public health, and environmental protection. Rising demand for clean water brings challenges such as high consumption, Non‑Revenue Water (NRW), ageing infrastructure, pollution, tariff sustainability, and long‐term security. Since Act 655, SPAN has strengthened regulation through uniform frameworks, standardised practices, and improved delivery.
This webinar explores SPAN’s role in transforming Malaysia’s water services industry. Topics include Act 655, governance, licensing, tariffs, demand management, NRW reduction, LCD strategies, and the Water Efficient Product Labelling Scheme (SPPCA). Participants will gain insights into regulation, infrastructure planning, conservation practices, and collaboration supporting a sustainable, efficient, and secure water industry.
