Through a realworld deployment on an FPSO facility, participants will discover how wireless vibration and temperature sensors improve safety, enable real-time equipment monitoring, and reduce unplanned downtime. The session also highlights the transition from time-based to predictive maintenance and discusses future innovations such as edge AI, digital twins, and autonomous maintenance solutions for offshore operations.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

MR. MOHD FARID BIN MOHAMED

Mohd Farid Mohamed is the Business Development Director of Quadrant 2 Technologies Sdn Bhd with more than 27 years of experience in engineering consultancy, business development, project management, and condition-based monitoring solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and is a certified Noise Risk Assessor and Category III Vibration Analyst. Throughout his career, he has led numerous projects and training programmes in noise, vibration, acoustics, simulation, and wireless machine health monitoring across various industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, and offshore sectors.
