SYNOPSIS
This two-hour webinar is designed to provide engineers, project managers, and construction professionals in Malaysia with a comprehensive understanding of the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) framework. The session will explore the critical role of CCC in ensuring building works meet statutory requirements, professional standards, and safety benchmarks. Participants will gain practical insights into the certification process, compliance obligations, and the responsibilities of Principal Submitting Persons (PSPs) under the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL).
The webinar will begin with an overview of the legal and regulatory landscape governing CCC, highlighting its evolution and importance in Malaysia’s construction industry. It will then delve into the step-by-step procedures for obtaining CCC, including documentation, inspections, and coordination among stakeholders. Case studies will be presented to illustrate common challenges and best practices in achieving compliance. Special emphasis will be placed on professional ethics, accountability, and the implications of non-compliance for engineers and organizations.
By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with actionable knowledge to navigate CCC requirements confidently, enhance their professional competency, and contribute to safer, more compliant building projects. This practical course is not only a pathway to certification but also a vital resource for engineers committed to upholding excellence and integrity in Malaysia’s built environment.
