SYNOPSIS
This webinar will cover the key aspects of Design, Construction, and Authority Submission of Rainwater Harvesting Systems (RWHS) in Malaysia. The session will highlight practical design considerations, system components, and integration with building infrastructure, including compliance with local authority requirements such as SPAN, JPS, and local councils.
Participants will gain insights into real project challenges, common design mistakes, and cost-effective solutions for implementation. The talk will also cover submission procedures, approval processes, and best practices to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with sustainability objectives.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Amirul Rashid Bin Harun is a Mechanical Engineer with 12 years of experience in rainwater harvesting systems and water-related services, including cold water supply, sanitary, and sewerage systems.
He has extensive experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of rainwater harvesting systems, as well as authority submission processes across Malaysia.
He is a Certified Plumber (SPAN A1, A2, PWR2) and a Certified Facility Manager, actively involved in delivering practical and cost-effective water solutions that support sustainable water management.
