SYNOPSIS
ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, constitutes a pivotal component within ESG frameworks, forming one of the three primary pillars. It embodies a strategic approach accompanied by transparent communication regarding the resulting impacts. This entails a structured set of actions aimed at addressing various aspects such as environmental conservation, social responsibility, and effective governance practices. ESG is not merely a report but rather serves as an initial step in implementing a comprehensive strategy. This strategy aids corporate organisations in establishing objectives, assessing performance, and mitigating sustainability-related risks and impacts. By doing so, organisations can offer stakeholders a clearer understanding of their trajectory and commitments. At its core, ESG aims to encompass all non-financial risks and opportunities inherent in an organisation's daily operations. Through robust ESG practices, companies can navigate challenges effectively while leveraging opportunities for sustainable growth and positive societal impact.
