SYNOPSIS
Repeated breakdowns of pumps, compressors, and turbines can cripple plant reliability, drain budgets, and frustrate maintenance teams. Yet behind every chronic failure lies a story—and a lesson.
In this 2‑hour webinar, I will share real-world cases of rotodynamic equipment failures encountered across industries in Malaysia, from my early years as a fresh graduate engineer to my recent work advising outage teams in an aging power plant. These are not textbook examples, but hard-earned experiences from the field—where seals leaked, bearings burned out, and vibration issues refused to go away.
Through these stories, participants will discover:
• Root causes behind chronic failures and why they often repeat after overhauls. • Practical troubleshooting approaches that go beyond quick fixes. • Lessons learned across industries—from palm oil mills to power generation. • Actionable advice for engineers and technicians facing repeated failures in their own facilities.
This session is designed for maintenance engineers, reliability specialists, technicians, and service providers who want to sharpen their problem-solving skills, avoid costly mistakes, and build a stronger reliability culture in their plants.
Join us to learn how failures can become your best teachers—and how to turn setbacks into sustainable solutions.
