SYNOPSIS
We are excited about an upcoming session that will focus on raising awareness about scams, human trafficking, and kidnappings. While it is an important topic, it is also a sad and sobering reminder of how these crimes are causing harm and destroying lives around the world.
Scams have become more advanced, targeting people especially the elderly through fake emails, sms, WhatsApp messages, and even false job offers. Many fall victim because these schemes are designed to look trustworthy. Sadly, some of these scams are linked to human trafficking, where people are tricked into dangerous situations and forced into exploitation. Kidnappings, often used to demand ransom, add to the heartbreaking impact of these crimes.
This session will:
• Help You Stay Safe: Learn how to spot and avoid scams. • Provide Practical Tips: Protect yourself and your loved ones. • Encourage Action: Find out how you can support victims and raise awareness.
While the topic is serious, this session is a chance for us to come together, learn, and take steps to make a difference. Let’s work toward a safer world for everyone.
