SYNOPSIS
The Mechanical Equipment Repair Fundamentals (MERF) Series is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in maintaining, repairing and enhancing reliability of mechanical systems. Covering core principles of equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and IMRO strategies, the series emphasizes hands-on learning, safe and good overhauling and repair practices, avoiding human induced machine failures. Participants will gain insights into common mechanical components, diagnostic methods, repairs and component recovery techniques and repair tools, thus enabling them to identify faults and restore equipment efficiency effectively. By bridging theory with real-world applications, the MERF Series equips technicians, engineers, and operators with the confidence to minimize downtime, extend equipment lifespan, and ensure reliable performance across industrial settings.
Targets Participant Engineering Technician, Engineering Technologist, Engineers and others.
