He has successfully delivered numerous projects across the globe, including in London, Manchester, and Kuala Lumpur. He has degrees in MBA (University Malaya) and MEng (UMIST), which equip him with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in his career.

Shazlan actively supports the promotion of the engineering profession through his involvement as committee members with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and the Institution of Civil Engineers UK (ICE). This includes giving engineering lectures to fellow engineers and mentoring graduates.
