BIODATA OF SPEAKERS

Speaker 1: Mohd Fairuz Bin Shuhaimi

With a strong background in mechatronics and over six years at Beckhoff Automation Malaysia, Mohd Fairuz Bin Shuhaimi serves as the Motion and Safety Product Specialist, supporting customers across Malaysia and Brunei.

As a TÜV-certified Functional Safety Engineer, he brings expertise in PC-based control, EtherCAT, IoT, motion control, and machine safety, which are the core technologies driving smart manufacturing.

Fairuz plays a key role in delivering technical and mechatronic solutions across industries such as automotive, electronics, semiconductors, medical, food & beverage, and building automation. He works closely with OEMs to develop scalable, innovative automation systems that help them stay agile and competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and is known for his hands-on approach and deep technical insight.


Speaker 2: Ir. Ts. Harry Hor

Ir. Ts. Harry Hor is a Product Specialist in Automation Software (TwinCAT) at Beckhoff Automation Malaysia since 2019. Backed by over 13 years of experience in the industrial automation sector, he brings deep expertise in PC-based control, EtherCAT, IoT, TwinCAT Analytics, and Machine Learning — technologies central to Industry 4.0. He supports customers across Malaysia and Brunei in a wide range of sectors, including automotive, electronics, medical, building automation, water treatment, and energy.

Drawing on extensive hands-on experience in industrial and infrastructure automation, Harry collaborates closely with OEMs to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. He is a registered Professional Engineer with IEM and Professional Technologist with MBOT, holding a B.Eng. (Hons) from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).
