The Challenge

Participants are required to submit:

1. A digital A2-sized safety poster highlighting an aspect of aviation safety such as maintenance
   safety, human factors, safety reporting or incident prevention.
2. A 3-minute pitch video summarizing the core message of their poster
3. The submission guidelines will be provided after the registration.
4. All entries will be evaluated on their creativity, safety relevance, clarity and presentation impact.
5. The top 10 selected finalists will deliver a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A
    ( a total of 15 minutes per team) at the plenary session.


Prizes

• Champion : RM 1000 + Certificate + Trophy
• First Runner-Up : RM 700 + Certificate
• Second Runner-Up : RM 500 + Certificate
• Top 10 Finalists : Certificates of Recognition
• Cash prizes will be awarded per team unless otherwise stated.


  Participation Fees

Industry Professionals: (45 years and above) : RM 150 per entry (per team)
Students: RM 30 per entry

Entry Deadline: Saturday, 30th August 2025, by 2359hrs
Announcement of Results: Friday, 12th September 2025


Terms & Conditions

• Submissions can be made individually or in teams of 2 to 3 members per team from Malaysian
   aviation organizations.
• Teams are allowed to participate in a category higher than their age-restricted category.
• IEM reserves the right to use entries for promotion, with attribution, while original IP remains
   with the creator.
• Members and family members of the ASC Committee are not allowed to participate in the
   competition.
• By submitting, participants grant IEM the right to use their submissions for educational and
   promotional purposes.
• IEM reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations. In the event of any changes, all
  teams will be informed at least two (2) weeks in advance.
• All decisions made by the ASC Committee and judging panels are final.
• PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION ACT - The participants have read and understood the IEM’s
   Personal Data Protection Notice published on IEM’s website at "www.myiem.org.my” and
   participants agreed to IEM’s use thus processing of their personal data as set out in the said
   notice.
• Winning entries will be featured at SAS 2025 and published in post-event safety outreach
   materials.
