SYNOPSIS
This talk focuses on Fast IDentity Online (FIDO), which was developed by the FIDO Alliance founded in 2012. FIDO is a global authentication standard to address password issues. FIDO2, the successor to FIDO UAF and FIDO U2F, is a passwordless authentication standard based on asymmetric public key cryptography. It aims to simplify and strengthen authentication and includes the W3C Web Authentication specification, WebAuthN API, and the Client to Authenticator Protocol (CTAP).

Mr. Sea Chong Seak
Mr. Sea Chong Seak is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Signing Cloud Sdn. Bhd., a leading provider of digital security solutions with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He is a recognized expert in cybersecurity and has led innovative projects, including secure authentication solutions, Fast IDentity Online (FIDO) implementation, digital signature, and Public Key Infrastructure solutions for enterprise and banking. Mr. Sea has also played a crucial role in government high-impact projects, ensuring system security and reliability. He is a major patent contributor in digital security and frequently speaks at international cybersecurity and technology conferences. He holds an MSc in Electronic Commerce from UMIST in the United Kingdom.
