BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ms. Cynthia Lee, a litigator and dispute resolution lawyer, specialises in commercial dispute resolution with a focus on complex contractual and tortious disputes. She also has extensive experience in construction law matters, with experience in arbitration and adjudication proceedings under CIPAA. She graduated from Cardiff University, was called to the Bar of England and Wales, and later in Malaysia. In 2022, she earned a Master’s in Commercial Law from the University of Malaya, ranking among the top 15 postgraduate students with Distinction. Currently, she is a doctoral fellow at the University of Malaya, focusing on competition law in e-commerce platforms. Her portfolio includes handling multi-billion-dollar government construction projects, highways, hospitals, and landmark developments such as The St. Regis Langkawi.
