SYNOPSIS

This sharing will begin with an overview of key industry standards relevant to HVLS fans, focusing on AMCA (Air Movement and Control Association) and UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certifications. These standards ensure that HVLS fans meet rigorous requirements for performance, safety, and reliability—AMCA for accurate airflow and efficiency testing, and UL for electrical safety and structural integrity.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Mr. Kevin Yap graduated with a Diploma in Mechatronics. He brings over 22 years of diverse experience across industries such as manufacturing, automation, heavy machinery, construction, oil & gas, and metal. His career includes over 20 years of Regional coverage across Asia. He is currently the Managing Director, Asia of Big Ass Fans Singapore, a role he has held since 2021. He has been actively involved in the HVAC industry, applying his strong technical background and interpersonal skills to deliver tailored air movement solutions.
