BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ir. Kumaresan Magaswaran

Ir. Kumaresan Magaswaran is the Ecosystem Manager of the Autonomous Vehicle eXperimental Lab (AVXL) at MRANTI Corporation Sdn. Bhd., holding the mandate to accelerate the commercialization and adoption the of autonomous vehicle technologies in Malaysia. Prior to that he was an academician for a decade at a highly acclaimed technology university after being an engineer in a FMCG multi-national manufacturing company. A professional engineer certified by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers(IMechE)UK. He was also involved in an initiative in a Malaysian university to embed the entrepreneurial DNA in its students and staff. Deploying technical knowledge and business acumen, Ir. Kumaresan and his team is actively advocating future mobility as a tool of people empowerment for the next developmental wave in Malaysia.
