Name: Mr. Teng Seng Loong

Mr. Teng Seng Loong is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience in Civil and Structural Engineering. A graduate of the University of Malaya, he is the founding director of TWT Design Sdn Bhd and a registered member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia. His expertise lies in the structural design of high-rise developments, industrial facilities, and medical institutions. Notably, he played a key role in several major healthcare projects including Hospital Cyberjaya, Hospital Pasir Gudang, Hospital Dungun, Hospital Jeli, Hospital Pengajar UPM, and Hospital UNISZA—many of which adopted IBS construction method using precast concrete elements. In the industrial sector, Mr. Teng was the principal engineer behind ViTrox Campus 3.0 in Batu Kawan, overseeing its multi-phase expansion comprising office buildings, factories, visitor centres, and training facilities. His portfolio also includes significant residential and commercial projects such as Genting Highlands Mixed Development, Jakel Office Tower, and high-rise apartments in Klang Valley. With a strong foundation in both design and value engineering, Mr. Teng consistently delivers practical, efficient, and innovative structural solutions across diverse sectors. His leadership has contributed to the successful completion of numerous impactful developments throughout Malaysia.

Name: Mr. Liew Zheng Jia
Position: Assistant Manager (Sales & Technical)Company: IJM IBS Sdn. Bhd

Mr. Liew Zheng Jia began his career with IJM IBS in 2018 upon completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. As one of the founding members of IJM IBS, he has been instrumental in the company’s growth, accumulating extensive experience across design, manufacturing, and construction using SMART IBS technologies. Currently leading the Sales and Technical team, Liew is actively involved in ensuring producibility and constructability during the design phase, overseeing construction execution, and maintaining close communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. His key project involvements include the Infineon Ancillary Building in Kulim, Hotayi BK2 and ViTrox Campus 3.0 in Batu Kawan, and the RTS Immigration, Customs, and Quarantine Center in Johor Bahru. Liew played a pioneering role in integrating Bubble Deck technology into SMART IBS, successfully delivering the system’s first project—a car park and office building for ASE Electronics in Penang—within four months. Under his leadership, IJM IBS has secured multiple projects across the residential, industrial, and public sectors. He is also highly proficient in value engineering, especially for fast-track industrial and Advanced Technology Facility (ATF) developments, positioning IJM IBSas a leading innovator in the precast construction landscape.
