Synopsis

Tangxing Equipment (M) Sdn. Bhd., established in March 2020, serves as a strategic overseas base for Tangxing Equipment under China’s “One Belt, One Road” initiative. Located in Sendayan TechValley Industrial Park, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, the company has invested USD 10 million in a state-of-the-art production facility spanning 2.5 acres. During the factory visit, participants will gain valuable insights into Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)technology, its manufacturing processes, and its pivotal role in modern tunnel construction projects. The visit offers a close experience with a wide range of TBM types and systems, including, Slurry alance, Rock Pipe, Rectangular Pipe, Earth Balance, Micro Tunneling Machine and Pipe Jacking TBMs. Participants will benefit from a comprehensive overview of TBM mechanisms, design and customization processes, and advanced manufacturing techniques employed at the facility. This immersive experience aims to enhance understanding of TBM engineering and its practical applications in infrastructure development.

•  Participants are advised to bring their own PPE (Safety boots, helmet, hi-vis vest)
