SYNOPSIS
Data plays a crucial role in engineering, and Microsoft Power BI is a powerful tool for turning raw data into actionable insights. This Introduction to Power BI for Engineers session, led by Dr. Puteri Nadiah Syamimi, provides a hands-on introduction to data visualization and analytics. Through interactive demonstrations and real-world examples, participants will explore data modeling, visualization techniques, and dashboard creation. By the end of the program, engineers will be able to analyze data efficiently and present insights effectively to support informed decision-making in their work.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Dr. Syamimi holds a Ph.D. in Radar Communication Engineering (2023), a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic System Engineering (2019), and a Diploma in Electronic Engineering (2016), all from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
Currently, Dr. Syamimi serves as a Technical Trainer at Telecommunication Engineering College (TEC). She specialises in Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and analytics. With expertise in Data Science and Data Analysis, she trains professionals to leverage Power BI for business intelligence, data analysis, and the creation of interactive visualizations, empowering them to transform complex data into actionable insights in their respective fields.
