BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Ts. Sukhairul Nizam Abdul Razak began his early education at SMK Methodist ACS Klang, Selangor. He later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical (Aeronautical) Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Skudai and obtained his MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He has been a registered Asean Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE) and a Professional Mechanical Engineer with a Practicing Certificate (PEPC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia since 2016, and was also registered as a Professional Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) in 2020.
Ir. Ts. Sukhairul Nizam started his career in 1995 at Proton’s manufacturing division as a body design engineer in R&D, and subsequently held various roles within Proton Edar over 18 years. His positions included Car Body Design Engineer, Branch Sales Manager, Manager of Sales Standards, Manager of Warranty Operations, Manager of Equipment Tools & Calibration, and Head of Division Office. He also worked with Accenture Malaysia on a project for the Daimler Group.
Ir. Ts. Sukhairul Nizam has held several prominent roles throughout his career, including Senior Lecturer at City University Malaysia, Programme Coordinator at First City University College, Manufacturing Lead at Keunggulan Jati Sdn Bhd, Regional Director at Leanmax Pro Sdn Bhd, and Managing Director at Enviroklar Tech Sdn Bhd. He is currently serving as a council member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
Ir. Ts. Sukhairul Nizam has extensive experience in designing and developing automotive components, overseeing anti-corrosion and painting development, aerodynamic development, and crash test development for Malaysia’s national car projects. Additionally, he is specialized in automotive sales training, coaching, and managing product recall activities within the automotive industry.
