SYNOPSIS

Electronic Air Cleaners are electrostatic precipitator suitable for filtering off Oil Mist and Smoke from kitchen exhaust systems. Its inherent properties of low resistance and reusable collection cell makes it ideal for kitchens that employ plenty of deep friers, stir frys or cooking pans. The presentation will dive into the operations of the Electrostatic Precipitator and the sizing and design of the exhaust ventilation systems to suit the varying needs of the different styles cooking in the kitchen.

Mr Tan Zhi Shen is the Sales Engineer and Manager of Engineered Products & Solutions at Applied Air Quality Specialists SB (AAQ). He is a Mechatronic Engineer and has specialized in the field of Air Filtration, Air Treatment and Humidity Control for the last 10 years. He has in-depth  knowledge on practical and cost effective solutions working together with Building Consultants (Mech) in the HVACR industry. ZS Tan has wide experience from design till commissioning for UV germicidal irradiation & electronic air cleaning systems in AHU, Air-to-Air energy recovery for building ventilation, Kitchen exhaust ventilation design andalso Moisture Control.
