BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Ing. Rico Umberto

Ing. Rico Umberto graduated with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan. After gaining experience in a consulting firm, he joined Mapei in 2018 as a Product Engineer. In this role, he specialized in the design of structural strengthening composite systems (FRP, FRCM, and UHFRCC), seismic retrofitting, and provided consultancy and technical assistance during project execution. He was also involved in product R&D, software development, and professional training for designers and applicators. Currently, Ing. Umberto serves as the APAC Regional Product Manager at Mapei.
