BIODATA OF SPEAKERS

Speaker 1 : Mr. Paul Onyett

Paul is a fully qualified electrical engineer with 30 years’ experience. He has City & Guilds qualifications inElectrotechnical Engineering gained from Rugby College. He is currently the Global Product Executive for ABB Furseutilizing his experience from previously worked in another business unit in ABB previously working across EMEA andAPAC. Paul specializes in the Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) and is part of the Furse UK factory team. Paul isinvolved in the Furse Total Solution which includes the Earthing and Lightning Protection part of the business. As theformer General Manager at ABB Elkay, ABB Royce Thompson and in 4 of the ABB Global Emergency Lighting brands heoversaw the entire process of delivering products to his customers, from suppliers to sales, to marketing and newproduct development. With over 14 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, he has a deep understanding ofthe needs and challenges of electrical distributors right through to installation companies, and how to provide themwith the best fit and forget products on the market. Paul has worked with many customers and wholesalers and supported their contracts and projects in various sectors, such as defense infrastructure, hotels, sports clubs,education, retail, and restaurant chains. He helps our distributor partners to win projects and keep them, by offering thekey assistance that is required to secure the contracts.


Speaker 2: Mr. Yeffry Wiyana

Yeffry has a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering qualification from Satya Wacana Christian University, Indonesia, followed by an MBA Degree from SP Jain, Singapore, and Post Graduate Diploma Degree fromNanyang Technological University, Singapore. He started his professional career as an application engineer forelectrical and instrumentation systems, then was assigned to the technical sales. Yeffry joined ABB Furse in 2010,established and built the competency and experience in the earthing and lightning protection system. His current roleis Regional Business Development Manager, working closely with the project consultant and the contractors, takingpart in the technical sharing, training, and seminars on earthing and lightning protection systems.Speakers Profiles Agenda
