SYNOPSIS
ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, is one of the three main pillars under the ESG frameworks. It represents a set of strategies supported by a coherent framework of actions and transparent communication regarding the impact of these actions. As a comprehensive report, ESG serves as the first step in implementing a strategy that enables a corporate organisation to set goals, measure performance, and manage sustainability-related impacts and risks. This approach helps provide stakeholders with a clearer understanding of the organisation’s direction. Ultimately, the main aim of ESG is to capture all the non-financial risks and opportunities inherent in an organisation’s day-to-day activities.
Course Expectations
1. To equip participants with practical knowledge in ESG concept and its potential implementation in the industry. 2. To equip participants with the ability to describe and adopt the ESG concepts within their industry that contributes to global sustainable development.
